We were approached by the African American Chamber of Commerce to help them re-imagine an existing vacant warehouse into a hub for entrepreneurial development along Milwaukee’s Martin Luther King Drive. By combining a co-working office space, a large instructional kitchen and offices for the Chamber of Commerce we created a network of both innovation and support. The intention was to design an environment where young entrepreneurs could feel safe taking the leap into developing business that would meet the needs of a revitalized economic corridor.
