Temporary Structure Architecture
In the summer of 2019, Riverworks asked us to design a temporary structure to house a pop-up café for their annual Riverworks Week event in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood. Using off-the-shelf and reclaimed building materials, we developed a simple modular design allowing quick assembly, manageable storage, and flexible uses. This pavilion was set up in the afternoon, serving coffee in the mornings and at night as a glowing beacon signaling to neighbors and residents that Riverworks Week was in full swing. Location:
